As much as I love Melancholia, it didn’t get any nominations or as much buzz as these 30 films. Same goes for Take Shelter and Carnage. =(

I’m pretty on point this year! Only 8 films left out of the 30.
I actually loved it. It captures the essence of early cinema and I really dig the cinematography. Also, Ben Kingsley gave such a good performance. The Tree of Life is more of a snoozer if you ask me.
This is such a beautiful film.
